Video: Lupe Talks Chicago, New Album, The Firm & More on MTV’s Rap Fix

Wow, this interview is pretty powerful. Lupe jumped down with Sway on MTV’s Rap Fix today, and spoke on a whole gaggle of topics. Sway kicked off the interview by showing Lupe some old footage of him on MTV’s My Block special from 2006. Clearly, Lupe hasn’t seen the special since it aired and it hit him right in the chest — stirring up a lot of memories of lost and locked up loved ones.

Later in the interview he talks about religion, books, his upcoming album and he shares his love of The Firm with Nature (who was also a guest on the show.)

He also kicks a verse from a new joint entitled Lamborghini Angels, which LupEnd has transcribed:
