14 Chicago Projects We’re Anticipating In Fourth Quarter

Posted on September 20, 2012 by FSD Staff

Onis – The Time Is Now

Release Date: Fall

Onis has been lurking around Chicago’s underground for a few years under the guidance of Gene and Stay Humble management. He’s been consistent with the beats and lyrics, but his true coming out party is The Time Is Now. Hosted by southern stalwart DJ Burn One, The Time Is Now features Onis over the production he truly needs to get his point across. Nascent, Ras Kass, Cormega and others are set to contribute to his project. Fromt he sound of things, Onis seems to be finding his footing, and early reviews say this one is serious. He will get his chance to show and prove later this fall.

Besides Martin of the Treated crew, the rest of this list is straight garbage. This site is not unique it either, rather it focuses on what is popular not who is talented. Discover Illinois naive Mad C http://soundcloud.com/madtasma380ium/sets/oatmeal-that-oattape/
