FSD Feature: Fatboi Fresh Bans Five Things In 2013

Posted on September 27, 2012 by FSD Staff

Words by Fatboi Fresh (@FatandUGLYaseva)

Out with the old and in with the new. Although the hip-hop media usually reserves these conversations for artists, I feel like we’ve been in limbo the past few years when it comes to trends. Nowadays, it’s never been cooler to do exactly what everyone else is doing within hip-hop culture. I would even say that it’s now expected for one to bite what the next man is doing. Sharks. Disagree? Well, I invite you to go outside and peep all of the Chief Keef and Wacka Flocka look a-likes. Or how about googling “Mercy Freestyle” and see how much bullshit pops up. I double dog dare you.

If you can’t see that we’re residing in the era of the biter, then you’re most likely blinded by water from the basic wave you so comfortably ride. That being said, the fourth quarter is upon us, which means 2012 is almost over. Since I’m pretty sure we won’t be blown up by any asteroids, I’ve decided to come up with a list of waves that we can stop riding in 2013. Though I’m sure you can do better, humor me.

I agreed with everything until the snapbacks. The image posted shows styles that were overused by kids in the edm scene who felt they needed to wear shit like that to any edm concert or music fest like spring awakening or wavefront. Snapbacks done tastefully are acceptable and plus they are great ways for upcoming brands to make hats while being concious of their budget. its easier to order 50-100 one size fits all instead of having to order 24 types minimum of indivdiual fitted hat sizes [i.e 7 3/8] daps overall

All snap backs are lame. Even the treated crew ones. Shit is just gay. Grown men don’t wear snap backs. Not hating just saying the truth
