Earlier this year, Common hit the Sundance Film Festival to premiere LUV which he stars in. The film, which also stars Michael Rainey Jr., marks director Sheldon Candis’ feature film debut and Com’s first starring role. The plot centers around an ex-con who’s released from prison and begins to mentor his troubled nephew who’s an orphan. From the looks of the trailer above, it’s definitely worth checking it out once it arrives in theaters on November 9th. Props to Nav for the heads up.
