8. Payroll f/ Chi K.O. “40 Gang”
This had to be the surprise of the week. We haven’t seen or heard much from Payroll lately, other than occasionally running into him around town selling his CDs. But he sounded as good as ever on this new completely-out-of-nowhere release. Is 40 Gang back? We’re not sure, but we are sure that we’d like to hear a project full of joints like this. This is street rap done the right way.
