Due to the fall out over Lil Wayne’s Emmett Till line on Future’s “Karate Chop,” Epic Records has decided to pull the single. Or at least Wayne’s inclusion on the single.

“We regret the unauthorized remix version of Future’s ‘Karate Chop,’ which was leaked online and contained hurtful lyrics. Out of respect for the legacy of Emmett Till and his family and the support of the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. … we are going through great efforts to take down the unauthorized version.”

SPIN, SPIN! So now Epic is backpedaling and saying the Wayne verse was an “unauthorized remix”? Word? Because a few months ago, Future announced the Wayne version as the official one. Interesting.
