This tape was just recommended to me a few hours ago by Crucial Conflict’s Q-Ball, and it was a pleasant surprise. Upon first listen, I gather that Stacks studies the rap landscape at large, and pulls from a variation of movements and sounds. But that’s the best part of being in the Midwest — we can pull from everywhere and put our own spin on it.
