A Better Preview Of Kanye West & King Louie’s “Send It Up”

Posted on June 11, 2013 by Andrew Barber

Okay, so some people I know have heard Yeezus. And some of those lucky people swear by “Send It Up,” saying it’s their absolute favorite of the bunch. Yesterday we got a live performance preview of the record from Ye’s set at the Governors Ball, but it wasn’t enough to really grasp what was happening with the record, nor hear Louie’s verse. But last night at the Yeezus listening session (for the cool people in New York), Ye played the joint in full.

I know I’ve been dying to hear it, and I’m sure your sentiments echo mine. So here we have a better version of the “Send It Up” from last night’s soiree. Granted it’s not near CDQ or anything, but it does give us a better feel of what we can expect. Count this as a giant W for the MUBU team captain.
