Today is your lucky day, because today you’re getting TWO new Auggie The 9th songs for the price of none. How’s that for service? That’s worth the price of admission alone, no? Auggie is currently hard at work on his forthcoming GAWS project, and before finishing it up he’s decided to let two new joints fly.
The first, “NegaSnot,” produced by Clark Parker, grabs its influence from ’90s Saturday morning cartoons as well as alternative/post hardcore/rock. Sounds like it shouldn’t work, but the way Auggie put it all together it most definitely does. Was there any influence from the highly influential 90s cartoon ProStars? Listen in to find out.
The second track, “Shonen Punx,” features franky4fingerz and was produced by Vent. And as “NegaSnot” pays homage to the best of Saturday morning from the 90s, “Shonen” is is dedicated to, as Auggie puts it, “anime and manga enthusiasts and lovers of Nerdcore shit like TerraGodz and Rob Bank$.”
