Mixtape: Vic Mensa – INNANETAPE

We’ve been hearing about Vic’s INNANETAPE since the beginning of 2013, and today we finally get the project in its entirety. Alongside iLLRoots, Vic has crafted a project that should be his breakthrough moment as a solo artist. We’ve long-championed Vic — even back when he still had an H in his name — when he first appeared on our site as a member of Naledge’s Brainiac Crew (March 2009). So it’s been dope watching his rise to fame alongside Kids These Days, and now come full circle as a solo MC.

INNANETAPE is truly Vic’s coming out party, and ever since his appearance on Chance’s “Cocoa Butter Kisses” he’s been killing everything that moves with a new and improved vision. Enter his matrix with his new project, which you can now stream and download below.

Production was handled by the likes Cam (from J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League), Christian Rich, Peter Cottontale, Boi 1-da, Hit Boy, DJ Dahi and Vic himself. So yeah, this is a red carpet outing.
