Last weekend, the 22nd annual Green Tie Ball was held at the former steel warehouse, A. Finkl & Sons, on behalf of the Chicago charity, Gateway Green. Hosted by Windy City Live personalities, Val Warner and Ryan Chiaverini, the event boasted 3,500 attendees (the most in the events history) and was attended by cast members from NBC’s Chicago Fire including Joe Minoso and Yuri Sardarov, as well as NBC meteorologist Alicia Roman, former Bears player Donnell Wolford, WGN’s Bob Sirott, Grant DePorter, Fox’s Anna Davlantes, and many more.
To close out the evening, Lupe alongside his DJ partner in crime, DJ Sky Gellatly (who make up SNDCLSH), DJ’d and performed with Lu finishing the set with “The Show Goes On.” The Ball was an amazing time for a great cause, so be sure to support next year when it celebrates its 23rd anniversary.
