For Rebel Diaz, growing up in Chicago as part of the Hip Hop scene, it was impossible to avoid House music. We remember going to parties and having to battle the house music dancers so that the BBoys and BGirls would have space to dance. We recall first hearing of KRS-1 thru a Kool Rock Steady diss, as the Chicago Hip House MC fought for the KRS initials. As we got older we realized that the House music scene was a huge part of us coming up. Countless house parties, hittin up Medusas, Alcatrazz and more. This song represents an ode to those times with that Rebel Diaz flava that we always throw in the mix.
