BET caught up with Illi recently to chop it up about a few things including how he connected with Lupe for the Tetsuo & Youth Preview tour, the city’s music scene, his Jean Baptiste project (which you should definitely give a listen if you haven’t yet) and his plans for his next project(s). Illi also reveals that he’s currently working with Twista, Trae Tha Truth and B.o.B and talks about being approached by major labels.
