New midwest heat from some of our favorite Detroit players. Here the latest incarnation of Slum Village links with Black Milk and Frank Nitt for “We On The Go.” They drop this record in celebration of the #LostScrolls series, which documents Dilla’s life and kicks off this evening.
Straight from (Conant Gardens) Detroit, the legendary Slum Village will share artifacts and never before seen pictures, documents, affirmations, etc. from the personal belongings & #LostScrolls; displaying the historical importance of Jay Dee a.k.a. J Dilla and his place in Hip-Hop history.
This Jay Dee a.k.a. J Dilla exhibit is between 8 to 12 minutes in length and will be presented live on stage before Slum Village’s set. Rare photographic artifacts will be displayed during this special presentation and T3 will describe historical & special moments shared with Jay Dee throughout their career.
