Common is back home in Chicago at the moment, and pictures have been popping up on Instagram and Twitter featuring Com with some of the Chi’s rising stars working on an undisclosed project and an undisclosed location.

Well, we just got word that Com is allegedly back home shooting the cover art for his new album Nobody’s Smiling, and he’s enlisted the help of some of Chicago’s finest for it. In numerous interviews leading up to the album’s release, Common proclaimed that he was fond of rappers like Chance The Rapper, Lil Herb, Lil Bibby and Vic Mensa. So today while shooting the cover of his new album, he reached out to a few of them to partake. King Louie, Lil Herb, The G Count, KD Young Cocky, Lil Bibby and Dreezy were all on hand to support Com on set. What exactly have they cooked up? We’re not sure, but Common discusses briefly in a clip below. You can also check out some additional pics as well.

Common also found time to shoot a video with Dreezy for a new track titled “No Good.” Business as usual.
