I was already digging this track, but the video here just upped the ante. Add kills it with the verbals, and the understated backdrop from 9th gives Add the easel he needs to paint the picture.
Dead Presidents the movie is definitely a favorite of mine, so it’s nice to see Add’2 2014 Chicago take on it. I feel like when rappers use movies as inspiration for their clips it’s always the same three or four films, but Add def tossed out a curve ball here. Check out Iron Mic, messiah type, above.
