Finally.
It appears Lupe’s threats of dropping a mixtape aimed at his label frustration, Lost In The Atlantic, prompted Atlantic Records to finally move their feet on Lupe’s release date. Moments ago, the label took to Twitter to announce that Tetsuo & Youth‘s drop date is now 1/20/15 — a full three month’s away. Will Atlantic make good on that release date? Let’s hope, because I’ve heard big things about this album. The people need it. The genre needs it.
No word on if Lost In The Atlantic will drop in the interim. We’ll keep you posted on both fronts.
