Didn’t see this one coming, did you? Well, maybe you did. Following the release of their collaboration with Lucki Eck$ and Danny Brown, Red Bull Sound Select returns with “That Did It” from Tink and Sleigh Bells.

Sleigh Bells met Chicago rapper/singer Tink when the two played a Red Bull Sound Select show in Austin during SXSW 2014. While they were already familiar with Tink’s music, Derek and Alexis were blown away by Tink’s energy and confidence on stage – even inviting her up to sing during the closing moments of the Sleigh Bells set that night. When the band was next in the studio in NYC, they invited Tink to contribute a verse to a new track that Derek was producing. Things went well in the studio, and the collaboration deepened as Alexis and Tink worked out additional melodies and vocal parts – within a day, “That Did It” was complete, and is available now courtesy of Red Bull Sound Select.
