Berg has had a big year from a production and TV standpoint, but early this morning things took a turn for the worse as he was arrested in NYC for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Masika Tucker.
Says TMZ:
Yung Berg — the rapper who stars on “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” — was arrested in NYC early Wednesday for allegedly brutalizing his girlfriend, and the charge is “obstruction of breathing” … TMZ has learned.
Berg — aka Hitmaka — and the woman were at the Gershwin Hotel when they got in an argument … where he allegedly grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the floor, dragged her by her hair and hit her in the face.
Apparently, the neck grab was enough for the breathing obstruction charge.
When cops came, the woman had bruises and complained she was in pain.
He’s currently in custody.
