Ric Wilson – If I Was White

Posted on December 16, 2014 by Andrew Barber

unnamed-2

Produced by TommyGunz

A dope concept record from rising Chicago artist Ric Wilson, who explores racism, and role reversal within the 50 states. If you remember, Sticky Fingaz and Eminem did something similar like 15 years ago, but Ric gives us his 2014 version — which isn’t nearly as lighthearted.

“If I was white” is something from the heart from a black boy in America who had identity issues, because of systemic and cultural racism.”
