Marrow returns to FSD with the gold medal-winning new release, “The Gold Standard.” It’s most definitely worth its weight in gold, and after that I’m going to cool it on the gold references.
Anyhoo, the band gives us a slow-roller that really hits the mark. Interestingly enough, here’s the lowdown on the track: “The Gold Standard” was one of the only songs that the group recorded with all four members in the same room playing simultaneously with no click, and no splicing takes together.”
