Chance The Rapper returns yet again, with more goodness for the youth of the Chi, as he’s working with the City of Chicago, the Chicago Park District and the Mayor’s Office  to curate the first-ever Teens in the Park Festival. The festival is set to take place Wednesday, June 24th at Northerly Island, and will be free for youth aged 13-24. The event will feature live performances from some of Chicago’s finest (Donnie Trumpet, DLow and Logan are scheduled), and will feature breakdancing, live art and many more surprises.

The event will take place from 4:00p – 7:30p and can only be attended by youth aged 13-24. This is sure to be a winner, and we hope this is the first of a long line of annual T.I.P. Fests. Tickets are available for FREE now via TicketMaster.

Good for him. I think this is a great idea, but am sad I’m too old to enjoy the show.
