New Date Announced for Chief Keef’s Hologram Benefit Concert

Posted on July 22, 2015 by Andrew Barber

Last week, a benefit concert organized by Chief Keef and his manager Alki David, was canceled by city hall due to fears of violence and potential problems with the crowd. The hologram concert was to raise funds for a slain 13-month-old toddler who was killed in the aftermath of the murder of Keef’s affiliate, Capo, two weeks ago.

However, despite critics, media and the city trying to shut the event down, Keef and Alki have decided to move forward with the concert, releasing a new date for the event: July 25th.

The Chicago location is a “secret” at this time, but it kicks of Saturday at 10pm CST. Alki took to his Instgram page to post a commercial for the event, and claims they’ve been banned by Mayor Rahm Emanuel. What are the chances this second show happens? We shall see.
