Pivot representers Joseph Chilliams and Saba connect for this brand new joint, “Boogey Down The Block,” produced by Saba. Wondering how this joint came about and why? I’l let Joseph explain:
Joseph has been trying to do a song with Saba for sometime now. The magic moment is finally upon us. Michael Jackson and Prince never got to do a song together, I’m pretty sure this is as close as we’ll ever get to that. Joseph sings his tukus off and Sab has the background vocals covered. Gladys Knight and the Pips, Joseph Chilliams and the Pivots. Joseph keeps blessing us with no end in sight. Someone give this man a pitcher of koolaid. What is he up to?
Got all of that? Good. “Boogey Down The Block” with Joseph and Sab below.
Also, if you aren’t doing anything tonight, Saba will be hitting the stage at Chop Shop with Leather Cords, Jessie Reyez and Sean Leon for the first annual Tale of Two Cities showcase sponsored by the city of Chicago, the city of Toronto and FSD. Tickets are only $5 in advance and $10 at the door, so come out and support good music for a good cause. More information can be found right here.
