Happy Birthday to Nick. Yes, it’s Mr. Astro’s born day, and in celebration of this special day, he’s decided to cut loose his latest album — Nothing Is Original. It’s true that nothing is original, but Nick Astro turns that theory upside down with his unique sound and persona.
The project is 11 tracks deep and was entirely produced by Dee Lilly. Nick explains the project in great detail, so I’ll let him tell it:
“This is a project where Dee Lily and I simply created music man. We didn’t force anything, if we were inspired by a ColdPlay or a Destiny Child record then we went with that, there were no rules with how we created this project from start to finish. I only ask that you simply listen with an open mind and soak it all in, this is not an intro to how great of a rapper I am but more so a great intro to who I am……..as a human being.”
