Chicago hip-hop stalwart, DJ Rude One, returns to the boards after an extremely lengthy hiatus to give us his first project in 12 years, ONEderful. After spending a decade-plus DJing and working on other projects, the producer/DJ got the itch to record music again, and has been quietly working on a secret project with Closed Sessions for the past few months. I’m sure fans of Rude and his long-missed sound are celebrating hard today, as he emerges with Your Old Droog for “Mr. Goodbar.”
