Quality Control Music, the Atlanta-based powerhouse indie label, headed up by Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas, have expanded their reach to the Midwest by signing Bellwood native Jayaire Woods to their burgeoning roster.
Jayaire joins the likes of Migos, Rich The Kid, OG Maco, Johnny Cinco, Skippa Da Flippa and Jose Guapo on the highly touted label, who’ve made headlines over the past few years for revolutionizing the indie and digital game. Jayaire jumping down with Coach K? Yeah, I’d say he’s in good hands.
Today, they celebrate Jayaire’s inking by dropping his debut video on the label, “2 Shoes.” We posted this track back in August, and today you can watch his vision come to life.
Jay says about the video:
2 shoes is glorifying the goodie goodie role I’ve played my whole life. Regardless, everybody get into some fucked up shit but I always had my own ideas on right from wrong. R.I.P my brother Vert. Backstory for the video is a lot of the people I grew up with supported & showed up & had fun. Bellwood aka Woodside play a big part in raising me
A big congrats to Jayaire Woods on his signing and big shout out to Coach K for the info. Get familiar below, where you can also find his latest mixtape Trees42morrow.
