For those who don’t know, Chi Ali was a popular rapper in the early-90s who had a string of hits including “Age Ain’t Nothin But A #.” In the year 2000, he was charged with murdering his brother-in-law over a $300 debt and a CD collection. He went on the lam and ended up on America’s Most Wanted before being caught in 2001. He’s now a free man who has put his past behind him.
That said, today we welcome back Chicago stalwart Toxic, who drops off his new single/video titled “Chi Ali.” And on this one, he’s murdering emcees. Kinda like Chi Ali. But instead of guns, Toxic is using his voice as a weapon — so duck when he’s shooting.
