Two years ago, Common’s AAHH Fest — a day long music festival which took place at Union Park — was one of my favorite events of the now-incredibly-long festival season. Common’s day-long event boasted performances and appearances from Kanye West, Dave Chappelle, De La Soul, Twista, Lupe Fiasco, Jay Electronica, Jennifer Hudson and more.
Last year, many were bummed to find out the festival would not be returning — but the good news is that it’s back for 2016. This year’s AAHH Fest will take place on Sunday, September 25th at Union Park. Little is known about this year’s festival or its lineup, but early bird tickets are now for sale on Groupon. You can purchase a ticket right now for the low, low price of $55.
Common’s reach is long and vast, so we can expect another spectacle in Union Park this year. We’re looking forward to seeing what he has up his sleeve. We’ll give you more details as they become available to us. But for now, this news is good news.
