Lil Durk Acquitted Of 2013 Gun Charge, Attorney Releases Statement

Durk’s weekend is off to a great start, as today he was acquitted on a 2013 gun charge that’s been haunting the Chicago rapper, as well as halting some of the moves he’s been trying to make. Durk was caught with a loaded .40-caliber handgun in Englewood back in 2013. Well, glock conversion kits aren’t illegal so he beat the case — reason to celebrate.

Durk took to social media to announce: “Thank god for my Kiley Law Group lawyer who been there since day one Sam Adams Jr. I contact them and they help me to beat my case today now I can get to the money and growth of my career and being a father to my kids thank you God 2x”

Durks attorney, Sam Adam Jr., released a statement to DNA Info:

“Now, Durk can continue to be artist. No more negative. Only positive. That’s what we’re going to focus on,” Adam said.” He feels good about it. It was a tough, tough case. We couldn’t had have better prosecutors.”
