Earlier today, I sat down with Mick Jenkins at Chicago’s Fat Tiger Workshop for a one on one interview on behalf of Red Bull Sound Select. We talked about Mick’s forthcoming Quest For Love Tour, which kicks off September 29th in Seattle, Washington, and features Smino as direct support (Kweku Collins will be joining for select dates.) We also discussed Mick’s long-awaited new album The Healing Component, which is set to drop on September 23rd. Mick gave us some exclusive news as far as producers and guests on the album, and even shared his official tour t-shirt in collaboration with Fat Tiger that will be given to 100 lucky fans at each show.
