Yet again.
Chance is back on the cover of Billboard Magazine like he never left. And the issue at hand is the special Grammy edition — where they discuss a potential nod and win with some of this year’s top prospects. Could Chance win best new artist? It looks that way. I wouldn’t be surprised if he grabs a handful of nominations this year, but I don’t wanna jinx the big fella.
When asked how he’d react if he gets a Grammy nom, Chance remarked:
Chance: The first thing I’ll do is give glory to God. If I get nominated, I’m going to throw a huge party in Chicago and I’ll fly in all my friends. We’ll celebrate the Grammys’ recognition of grass-roots independent artists and this new way of releasing music by nominating me. We’ll f—ing go crazy for, like, two days straight.
