React is back with their REACTION NEW YEAR’S EVE party — a two-night event which will takeover the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center. It’s the best way to end the year, and if you were in attendance last year, you can vouch for that.
Heavy-hitters such as Gucci Mane, Danny Brown & Anderson .Paak are set to headline, while local stars such as Noname, Smino, Kweku Collins will round out the bill. If rap isn’t your thing Dillon Francis, Zed’s Dead, and Flume will also be rocking the house.
Tickets have just gone on sale and are available right here. Don’t sleep as this will sellout. Both GA and VIP are available.
Read the official press release here, and we’ll see you there in December!

GA 17+ | VIP 21+October 6, 2016 — React Presents is thrilled to announce the artist lineup for this year’s REACTION NEW YEAR’S EVE! The stunning two-night event will once again transform the immense Donald E. Stevens Convention Center into a genuine warehouse-style experience fitted with captivating production and a sound system worthy of the venue’s unrivaled magnitude.
Headlining the New Year’s festivities will be four-time ARIA Music Award-winning Australian artist FLUME on Friday, December 30, along with decorated bass music powerhouses and longtime Chicago favorites ZEDS DEAD on Saturday, December 31.
In celebration of Chicago’s diverse musical landscape, Reaction NYE gathers a wide spectrum of genres, ranging from pioneers and trailblazers, to the freshest up-and-comers and local luminaries. Kicking things off before FLUME on Friday will be genre-busting singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist ANDERSON .PAAK with his band THE FREE NATIONALS, the king of moombahton and electronic music’s resident humorist DILLON FRANCIS, and Detroit rapper DANNY BROWN. Rounding out Friday’s lineup is Los Angeles based producer MR. CARMACK, heralded representative of the west coast’s wave of underground electronic and hip hop fusion, Chicago songstress and storyteller NONAME, fresh off her critically-acclaimed debut project Telefone, and breakthrough rapper/singer and producer KWEKU COLLINS, known for his intimate, hip-hop-informed bohemian rhapsodies.
The countdown to the New Year and ZEDS DEAD’s closing performance on Saturday will witness an immense roster of diverse opening acts, including internationally recognized “Trap God” of hip hop GUCCI MANE, coming off his ninth studio album Everybody Looking, with his tenth Woptober following later this month, and French future house extraordinaire TCHAMI. Chicago-bred electro-soul master of the live band/DJ hybrid experience MANIC FOCUS will also perform, along with English electronic duo BONDAX, known for their genre-transcending approach to funk and R&B. Rising Midwest artists also gracing Saturday’s lineup include singer/songwriter (and former frontwoman of acclaimed Chicago band Woo Park) EMILY NICHOLS, riding high off Strange, her debut EP release, and hip hop visionary/Zero Fatigue rapper SMINO.
