In celebration of Kevin Coval’s new book, A People’s History of Chicago, which you can preorder right here, Kev and crew brought the poem “Baby Come On: An Ode to Footwork.” to life with this vibrant visual celebrating one of Chicago’s most legendary homegrown art forms.
Litebulb handles the dancing, while Mr. Coval narrates with a poem. Very dope direction on this. A People’s History drops on April 11th, and features work alongside Hebru Brantley and Chance The Rapper.
