Produced by THEMpeople, additional instrumentation by Phoelix
As Smino prepares to let loose his official full-length debut next week, he’s decided to slide us another, presumably final, single, and it’s a heater. Needless to say, Smi ability with music is something you don’t get to witness very often, and it’s crazy what he’s capable of. Prior to this, he took to the Internets to give us a look at the project’s official front and back cover art, including the tracklisting. If this new joint, along with all the other singles he’s been releasing, are any indicator, we’re in for something special.
blkswn is set to drop on us on 3/14, but you can call it Lou Day. The project has partner in crime Monte Booker handling the bulk of the production, but catch additional guest soundscapes from THEMpeople, and Phoelix, plus Sango and J. Bird. Smi looks to have kept it smooth and tapped his big cousin Drea Smith, Akenya and Via Rosa, for features. Plus, Ravyn Lenae, Bari, and Jay2, the other members of Zero Fatigue, make mandatory appearances. Personally, I’m most excited for something called “Netflix and Dusse”.
