Smino’s blkswn album is easily one of the best of 2017. You can debate me on that one if you want, but I’m fairly certain most agree. It’s one of my personal favorites for sure, and I’m excited to see all the success that’s coming from it. In fact, just a few weeks back he was Apple Music’s Artist of the Week. So major congrats to Smi and team on that one.
Today, he drops off his first video from blkswn — directed by Jean Deaux and David Okolo. The clip finds Smino out in the Joshua Tree area of California in one of the baddest damn Mustang’s I’ve ever seen in my life.
“Anita’ is dedicated to the ladies out there. Smino had to say: “Women just have the coldest, most unbiased eyes in the universe,” he notes. “Over time being around so many different women, I’ve just grown to trust their opinion on things.”
