Posted on June 23, 2017June 23, 2017 by Andrew Barber

Iconic Chicago poet and renaissance man, J. Ivy, is back with a brand new album: My Daddy’s Records. This project is a collection of poems from his Dear Father book, set to production from some of the game’s finest including Ski Beatz, JT, Marshall Knights, Chris Rob, Reality. But J. isn’t alone here, he’s brought some friends along for the ride featuring Tarrey Torae, Yaw, Khari Lemuel, and his father Jim Richards — from his radio days.

We’ve known J for a long time now, and it’s always great to see him prospering and continuing to elevate his game. He’s the definition of winner. Listen to his Daddy’s Records below. We highly suggest you do.
