The crew over at Mass Appeal caught up with Smino and Monte Monte Booker as they closed out the blkswn tour in Smi’s hometown of St. Louis. Emotions were certainly in the air as Smino relates his journey after high school from the Lou to the Chi to follow his dreams. “I left on some desperate shit,” Smi says. “The way I left St. Louis, I got a bag and a place to sleep.”
