Femdot joins Closed Sessions and releases new single “happyoctober.”

Oh wow, it’s lit. Big congrats to Femi and the team over at Closed Sessions for making this monumental partnership happen. Femdot has joined the Closed Sessions family for his next album, due out in the near future. In my opinion, this was a match made in heaven, so I’m expecting big things from all parties. No pressure, though. Ha!

Today they made the announcement formally via Billboard, where they premiered an insanely dope new record to kick off the month of October, as well as a short documentary. This is big. Check out both below!

“In regards to partnering with CS, it just made sense,” Femdot tells Billboard. “This next project is the biggest of my career thus far. We could have went a thousand different directions with this project, but why not keep it in the city? Contribute to the already budding industry in Chicago. We’ve already had a relationship with Closed Sessions to begin with. RTC [CS co-founder Alexander Fruchter] has been following my music since I was 16, and I’ve been around them for years. It just felt like the right move.”
