As I’ve said before, Melo Makes Music is one of the craziest artists coming out of Chicago. There really is nobody doing what he is at the moment, hip-hop or otherwise. Now, at long last, Melo is ready to step into the world with the release of his debut full-length. This is a project that I’ve found myself regularly wanting to run back since I got an early listen a few weeks back, and I think that’ll be a common sentiment. Melo’s always filled a fairly specific niche, but I think that with this one he’s mastered himself and figured out some broader appeal. There’s a wave coming, and Melo Makes Music is on top of it.
