Kota the Friend dropped an album called “Foto” today and it popped up a bunch of times throughout the day so I had to check it out.
The Brooklyn up-and-comer can flat out rap and this album goes… no doubt about that. Check it out on its own, I have a feeling that Hip-Hop heads are going to be hearing the name Kota the Friend a lot more soon.
The song that popped in my ears though is ‘Solar Return’ which taps Saba as the veteran in the game showing just how far his style has come. It’s pretty crazy how strong of a year he’s having — he can really do anything.
