Valee – Runnin’ Rich (The EP)

Ben Hewitt

The Off-Kilter OG is back with a sneaky drop on a Tuesday.

There is so much to love about this EP from the initially controversial (and amazing) red puppy on the cover to the TYMadeIt, Narcowave, ChaseTheMoney, Young God, Rio Mac productions to the features from Chicago heavy hitters G Herbo, King Louie and Vic Mensa.

Valee’s flow is still unmatched and I feel like this was a coming out party for already one of the most quotable artists in the game.

From “Come be my new broad, we can watch some Locked Up Abroad” on the first track “Ice Attack Prequel” to “Run up a check till I’m out of breath, I fucked up my back / SleepNumber bed, I put it on 66 and now I’m relaxed” on the last song “Sleep Number” the whole thing is packed with unbelievable lines that come across so effortlessly.

Check it out for the flow, the beats, the features, the whole package — but definitely check it out.
