Thanks to the good people at Red Bull, we’re getting ProbCause’s new LP, Drifters, a day early. Score one for the good guys. The album is out tomorrow (8/28) via Gramatik’s Lowtemp label, and features 12 new songs including work with Twista, Saba, Drew Mantia, The O’My’s and more.
He tells RBM:
“[This album] is much more musical than anything I’ve made in the past,” says ProbCause. “It combines my favorite parts of all my favorite genres. I really like the idea of weaving my voice between jazzy trumpets, classical violins, digital drums and making it all fit together somehow. I also produced, sang, rapped, wrote and did all the artwork for the project, so I feel like it’s even more hands on than anything I’ve done in the past.”
