Netherfriends has so much material recorded, in the vaults, and just laying around that he can up and drop an album whenever he feels like it — and today he did just that with Logan Square. And it’s not just any old album, it’s a punk rock album. Dropping an album out of the blue? That’s punk rock as hell, and that’s Nether for you.
Says Shawn:
I made a punk album back in 2013 when I was living at the Kimball House with Fess Grandiose. During my time living there, I got caught in Southern, IL with less than a gram of weed and was arrested. I had to get drug tested which meant I couldn’t smoke tree for 2 months. During that time I dated a punk girl named Whitney, drank at bad bars, attended boring punk rock shows, and recorded the Logan Square album. I hope you enjoy it. This isn’t my favorite genre of muse, but I had a blast recording it.
