Directed by Mike Ho. Produced by Gladiator.

One of my biggest gripes about the current state of music videos in 2015 is that much of the art form has been destroyed by handi-cam directors, terrible plot lines and unexciting lazy treatments. But this cannot be said of rising Ohio-spitter Cal Scruby, who has yet to disappoint with his glossy clips that all have a big budget feel — despite being a very indie artist.

Cinematic is the best way to describe the new video for Cal’s latest single, the perfectly titled, “Michael Bay.” It’s a real movie. Car chases, explosions, beautiful women — pretty much the works. And for “Michael Bay,” Cal and the Riveting Entertainment family take to the backstreets and gutters of Los Angeles for the Mike Ho-directed clip. Ho has worked with the industries best and brightest and truly put his best foot forward for “Michael Bay” — not to mention Fools Gold producer Gladiator killed the beat.

Did I mention there’s a car explosion? You just gotta watch for yourself. Get into it below, you won’t be disappointed. It’s always an event with Cal.
