Sorry for the delay – busy day around here. I promised you some news on GLC, so study up below:
-The video for “I Ain’t Even On Yet” drops Friday, October 10th on GLCityMusic.com – as well as your standard Chicago Hip Hop blogs. The video is super official – Ike Films outdid themselves
-The accompanying mixtape, I Ain’t Even On Yet, is scheduled to drop next Tuesday, October 14th – so be on the lookout for that as well.
-As you can see from the pic above (and the one after the jump), the infamous GLC t-shirts are now back in stock at various locations around the city. GL was nice enough to hit me off with a three pack last night prior to Ludacris’ listening party at Plush. Everyone either had a J. Ivy or GLC t-shirt on, so we looked like a rather thick street team. On the other hand, I’m not really sure how I feel about Cris’ new album. The Premo track was nice.
-Also last night I caught a sneak peak of Midway’s new video game, Blitz – The League II, in which GLC lends his voice to one of the main characters. I believe the game drops this Monday or Tuesday, but I can’t really remember – I’d been drinking. It also features two of his songs in the music player – “I Ain’t Even on Yet” and “Sodapopinski” (with Dirty Digital). I’m working on getting some kind of clip or trailer for you to view – it was crazy.
-GLC is also wrapping up his video for “Blinded by the Light” which he’s been shooting in various locations around LA and Chicago over the past few weeks.
-GLC may make an appearance on Beatbox Radio tonight which returned to the airwaves last week. Sharod’s show airs tonight from 10pm – 12am on 88.9 FM or can be streamed via the internets. Look for yours truly to be making a few cameos here and there as well.
