Have the seeds of rap’s next super duo been planted? Yesterday on Twitter, shortly after Earl Sweatshirt mentioned the power of rapping in a collective, Chano revealed to his followers his long-held desire to be in a duo with the I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside artist. This comes after months of a rumored Odd Future split, so perhaps Earl is looking to start something new?
As two of hip-hop’s most noted young talents, there’s definitely loads of potential here for any project they embark on. There’s no word on what Chance’s plans are for after his third mixtape, and he’s already shown a willingness to do projects with other artists on the fly. Only time will tell if these artists are planning to come together, but hopefully it at least leads to a collaboration.
