If you stay up on rap internets, you’ve likely seen pictures and videos of last night’s Kanye craziness in NYC appear on your timeline. So if you missed it, here’s the low down: Kanye’s performance at NYC festival Governor’s Ball was canceled due to weather issues. So with Ye already in NYC he had the itch to perform, so he showed up at Summer Jam to perform with Pusha T, Desiigner and the GOOD Music family. He also announced a secret show at Webster Hall in Manhattan, which was to take place at 2am. Now, Webster hall is a venue no bigger than 500 cap. Obviously, thousands of people showed up and flooded the streets of NYC. It got so crazy that the city shut it down and eventually tried to send everyone home.
It looks like a riot in real time. Kanye pulled off hanging out of his sunroof like a decorated war general. It was pretty amazing. Check out pictures and video below.
