I’m happy to announce that GemStones project, On The Road To Glory: My Story, is finished and has gone to print. The project will be dropping shortly and will be presented by FSD. Gem has been working on this opus for quite some time and has put many hours, blood, sweat and tears into this release – his first since leaving Lupe Fiasco’s First & Fifteenth imprint.
This first leak, which is directly linked to the picture above, deals with personal issues that Gem has dealt with, including weight loss and coming to terms with the troubles of the world (so to speak). Very deep stuff from one of the Chicago’s (and the World’s) brightest talents. Welcome back, Gem. This is a story that needs to be told.

I don’t understand why the world isn’t feeling Gemstones. The mixtapes were dope, the My Hood joint a few months ago was dope, dude can sing, dude can rap…definitely missed him and excited that we’ll get some new shit soon.
