Many have tried, and most have failed. Putting together a compilation or album with all exclusives, anchored by a DJ, is hard to do. Especially in this day and age. Many artists toss the records out under the impatient act, and the DJs get thirsty so they throw out exclusives with no direction. But not DJ Twin — he really snapped and put together one of the best DJ projects of recent memory with Day 1.
It’s star-studded and chock full of unheard exclusives from big name artists. Sean Kingston appears on almost every song, while Twin was able to snag features from the likes of Jeremih, French Montana, Kodak Black, Chief Keef, G Herbo, Lil Bibby, Lil Yachty, Famous Dex, Yo Gotti, Playboi Carti and more. It’s seriously a who’s who of current rap — and Twin is giving it to us for the free. Amazing, right?
